My rule is simple: if a deal on item descriptions feels rushed, vague, or unusually cheap, I slow down. Clear communication, recent photos, and realistic pricing matter more than a flashy title.

Has anyone here found a good way to verify listings before meeting up?

From a seller side, threads like this help because buyers often want the same things: honest condition notes, transparent pricing, and a quick answer to common questions about item descriptions.

Members who have sold successfully should share what kind of titles and descriptions got the best response.

I think this topic could become a strong evergreen thread for Seller Tips, Pricing & Listing Advice. Searchers usually want practical advice, not generic tips.

It would be useful to hear what red flags, paperwork, testing steps, or negotiation tactics people actually use with item descriptions.
